SHIPPING RATES

DISPATCH

All orders will be dispatched within 2 to 5 business days starting from the first business day following the date your order was placed.

In peak sale periods or launch periods there can be delays of up to 5 days on top of our regular processing times. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped with tracking included.

  • Please note that all orders will be sent during our operating times of Monday - Friday 9:00am-4:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.
  • Transit times differ for each area, and once we have shipped an item, the transit time is completely out of our control. As we are located on the East Coast our transit times to WA may be longer than local businesses.
  • Please ensure all personal and delivery details are correct prior to submitting your order. Starting Solids Australia is not liable for orders sent to the wrong address.
  • Once an order has been placed, we are not able to combine with other orders or refund postage costs.
  • Orders containing items on pre-order will be held until all items are in stock to dispatch together. If you wish for in stock items to be dispatched immediately please place two seperate orders.
  • By using Starting Solids Australia's website and placing an order with us, you are accepting all our shipping/postage, exchange, return and refund terms and conditions.
  • Once an order has been shipped it is in the hands of the postal service  or courier listed in your tracking email. If you have any queries or concerns about the delivery time frame or querying a delivery notification please first contact the delivery company. They are best placed to provide you information about where your package is since it is in their hands. If you do not have any success with the courier or postal service please contact us.

HOW DO I CHECK MY ORDER STATUS?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you have any concerns or delays with your delivery please place an enquiry with the delivery company. If you do not receive a satisfactory result from the from the delivery company please contact us.

REFUNDS, RETURNS, AND EXCHANGES

Unfortunately at this time, we do not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, nor are we able to cancel or alter orders after purchase.

If your product is faulty or you are unhappy with your products for some reason we will happily work with you to resolve the issue.

CUSTOMS / ACCEPTANCE OF DELIVERY

Customers are responsible for organising their own acceptance of items based on the delivery options they choose. Any re-delivery of parcels needs to be arranged and paid for by the customer. Please note that unless duties have been prepaid, payable import taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local customs to get an idea of any duties or taxes that may apply.

INCORRECT ADDRESS

  • If the wrong delivery address is provided, please get in contact as soon as possible with your order details via the contact us page as we may be able to amend this for you.
  • If you have already received your tracking number, your order has been shipped we cannot make any changes as it is now with the courier.
  • However, you may be able to contact the courier (found on your tracking) to request any updates.
  • If the wrong delivery address is provided, we are unable to refund your purchase or replace the goods.
  • Please note, we cannot guarantee that any changes can be made due to the high volume of orders we ship out daily.

RETURN TO SENDER

If your parcel is automatically returned to the sender by the postal service, our returns team will contact you to arrange redelivery when we receive it. This usually occurs when the courier has attempted to make multiple deliveries or your parcel has been awaiting collection from your local post office and is now being returned back to our warehouse. Please note, we are unable to offer a refund for a return to sender parcel.

THE ORDER DOES NOT ARRIVE

All parcels shipped within Australia are dispatched from our warehouse with either Australia Post, Aramex or Couriers Please. Your tracking may be organised via Sendle but it will be delivered by one of the 2 above delivery agents.  Once you receive tracking information your package is in the hands of the delivery company.

If you have received notification that your delivery has arrived, be sure to check and ensure it hasn't been collected on your behalf. if you are not able to locate it please first contact the courier. Starting Solids Australia is not able to offer any compensation if a parcel has not been received after the postal services have delivered your order to your address.

Starting Solids Australia is unable to offer refunds for items lost or damaged via couriers. Australia post offers compensation of up to $50 for for orders and we will happily work with you to receive compensation from them. For damaged packages please present the damaged package and items to your local post office and they will lodge a claim for you. For lost / undelivered items please lodge an enquiry online through your tracking.

For packages damaged by Couriers Please or Aramex please contact them for their compensation processes. If you do not receive a satisfactory result please contact us and we will follow up on your behalf.

We unfortunately do not offer pick-up of purchases or viewing prior to purchasing.
