Age Recommendation - From 12+ months. Watermelon when served in thicker pieces can be a choking hazard. 

This recipe contains dairy- which is a common allergen. You could swap the cream cheese for coconut yoghurt or just serve plain in a Christmas tree shape without decorations.

Decorate Your Own Watermelon Christmas Tree

Ingredients

  • Watermelon
  • Cream Cheese (in a piping bag or zip lock bag with the end cut off)

Decorations! We used:

  • Chocolate chips
  • Blueberries
  • raspberries
  • desiccated coconut (for snow)

You can really use anything you want for the decorations!

Directions

  • Slice your watermelon into wedges and then cut out the shape of a Christmas tree
  • Squeeze your cream cheese out of the bag and onto your tree (zig zag pattern like tinsel is perfect!)
  • Then place your decorations on top of the cream cheese so they stick
  • Serve as soon as they are finished!
