Returns & Refunds Policy
At Starting Solids Australia, we’re committed to creating products that make mealtimes easier and more enjoyable for families. As a small, family-run business, we work hard to keep our products high quality, affordable, and backed by real feeding expertise. The policy below outlines our returns and refund process.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind Returns
We offer returns within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions must be met:
• The return request must be made within 14 days of receiving your order
• Items must be new, unused and in original condition
• Products must be returned in their original packaging
• Items must not be damaged, washed, or altered in any way
If these conditions are not met, we may be unable to accept the return.
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping for change of mind returns.
Return Requests
If you wish to request a return, you can do so through your customer account using our self-serve returns portal.
Simply log in to your account, locate the relevant order, and follow the prompts to submit a return request. Once submitted, our team will review the request and provide instructions for returning the item if it is approved.
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method for the product purchase price. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
If Something Arrives Incorrect or Faulty
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate and resolve it.
To help us assess the issue quickly, please provide:
• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Clear photos or videos showing the fault or incorrect item
Without supporting photos or videos we may be unable to proceed with a replacement or refund.

Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or videos showing what has occurred. We may request additional images, and in some cases the item may need to be returned to us for assessment.
Return Shipping
If a return is approved, we will provide instructions on how to send the item back to us.
For change of mind returns, customers are responsible for arranging and paying for return shipping.
If a return is required for a faulty or incorrect item, we will advise the appropriate return process. Items must be packaged securely to avoid damage during transit.
Digital Products, Subscriptions & Ebooks
Digital products such as ebooks, downloads, guides, and membership access contain intellectual property and cannot be returned.
For this reason, digital purchases and subscription renewals are non-refundable once payment has been processed, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Customers are responsible for cancelling any Solids Library subscription before the next renewal date if they do not wish to continue.
Refund Process
Once a returned item has been received and inspected (where a return is required), we will notify you by email of the outcome.
If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
