Quick Recipe Snapshot

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 30–35 minutes
Makes: About 20 cookies
Freezer friendly: Yes
Texture: Soft baked cookie

Age & Texture Guidance

Recommended for 12 months+ as these contain a little added sugar (the golden syrup).
12 months+: serve as a fun occasional snack or lunch box treat — the texture is soft enough for toddler bites.
For younger bubs, you can leave the golden syrup out — the cookies will be less sweet and a little firmer, or try one of our no added sugar bakes instead.

Allergens Present

Milk (butter), tree nuts (almond meal) and wheat (gluten).

Allergen Substitutions

Use a dairy free spread instead of butter, swap the almond meal for oat flour or extra wholemeal flour for a nut free version, and use a gluten free self raising flour blend if needed.
