One Tray Bake-Satay Chicken With Steamed Rice and Green Beans
It is another one tray easy family meal from us here! With some simple modifications this is one that is suitable for everyone at the table including babies just getting into solids. We have also been super budget conscious with this recipe, with it coming in at just under $20.00. This meal fed a family of four for two separate dinners.

Age & Texture Guidance
From around 6 months with texture modification.
6-8 months: serve the drumstick whole with skin and loose pieces removed (great for oral motor development), or in large finger-food pieces. Rice and whole soft green beans are fine. Always supervise.
9-12 months: offer thinly sliced chicken.
12 months+: small bite-sized pieces, building up to larger chunks and the whole drumstick.

Peanut butter can’t be swapped in a satay, so if peanut isn’t suitable try another of our one-tray bakes. You can swap the soy sauce for coconut aminos.
