What we like

• Sodium: The sodium is 287mg per 100g and we are aiming for less than 400mg per 100g. This is a moderate sodium product.    

• Protein: 6.9g protein per 100g (55% of RDI for children 1-3 years old and 40% of RDI for protein for children 4-8 years old).   

• Total Fat: 3.7g per 100g, which is below the recommended 10g per 100g.  The saturated fat is 1.2g per 100g, making it low in saturated fat as we want it below 3g per 100g.    

• Sugar: This product has 2.7g per 100g sugar, less than 5g per 100g is low and less than 15g per 100g is moderate, making this product a low sugar product.   

• Iron: approximately 2mg, which is below the recommended 2mg/kg/day for children
