A five-minute pear and ricotta mash that's lovely on its own, stirred through oats or smeared on toast – a soft, naturally sweet breakfast or snack for little ones from six months.
This is another super easy but very tasty fork mashable/puree recipe combo for you! This one is great for breakfast or a snack. It can be served on its own but also mixed through oats or smeared on toast.

Age & Texture Guidance
Suitable from around 6 months with no modification needed. From 6–9 months, fork-mash the pear through the ricotta for a soft, scoopable texture. From 9–12 months and beyond, thinly slice the pear on top for self-feeding. If the pear is firm, soften it first.

Dairy (ricotta) and sesame (tahini, if used).
Allergen Substitutions
Swap the ricotta for coconut yoghurt to make it dairy free (adding a little almond butter to replace some protein and calcium), and simply leave the tahini out for a sesame-free version.
