We LOVE salmon for the taste, but also the incredible nutrition boost it gives these fritters. Adding in salmon offers protein and energy alongside omega 3, vitamin A, D, B6 and B12. Salmon is also a fish that is low in mercury- you can learn more about the best fish to pick for bub here.

Age & Texture Guidance

Suitable from around 6 months.
6-9 months: mash everything very well so there are no large or hard pieces; blend any peas. Serve in strips.
10-12 months: peas mashed or flattened.
12 months+: enjoy as is; whole peas can be added.

Allergen Substitutions

Swap the egg for a flax egg or mashed sweet potato, and the breadcrumbs for gluten-free flour or chickpea flour. The salmon is the star, so we don’t recommend leaving it out.
