Sunsol Muesli Breakfast Baby Puree
A quick soak and blend turns Sunsol Low Sugar Natural Muesli into a smooth, nourishing purée for bubs from 6 months — an easy way to offer grains, nuts and seeds at brekky with just two ingredients.
We recently reviewed the Sunsol Low Sugar Natural Muesli. It's a great option in terms of nutrition for little ones but without modification it isn't a suitable texture for babies under the age of 1. We've come up with a simple way to prepare it for our littlest loves. While traditional muesli is usually too firm for early eaters because of the nuts, seeds and grains, soaking softens everything beautifully. A quick soak and blend breaks the texture down into a smooth purée suitable for babies starting solids.

6–12 months
Blend until completely smooth so nuts and seeds are fully broken down. You can experiment with adding less liquid to create a thicker puree as your bubs skills develop.
12–18 months
Blend slightly less to create a thicker more lumpier purée if your bub is tolerating more textures.
18+ months
Once your baby confidently manages textured foods, you can offer the softened muesli without blending.
