Care & cleaning
Hand wash recommended to protect the silicone base and finish. Use a soft sponge or bottle brush and warm soapy water. The straw cover and spout are removable for easy cleaning. Dry straight after washing. Stainless steel shows water marks — faint tan or rainbow patches are dried mineral deposits from tap water, not damage. A cloth dipped in white vinegar lifts them straight off. About surface marks: the outside of a stainless bottle picks up fine scratches and scuffs from everyday use — the bottom of a school bag, the drink bottle rack, the odd drop. This is normal for all stainless steel and cosmetic only. There is no coating to wear through, so a marked bottle is still completely safe and hygienic. Avoid steel wool, scouring pads, bleach and soaking overnight.
