3 Ingredient Rice Balls

Written by: Jeanette Blandford | Published on May 28, 2025

An easier, quicker recipe than homemade sushi that is basically the same nutrition wise. Just no rolling in seaweed and time consuming process! The longest part of this recipe is cooking the rice!

3 Ingredient Rice Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of arborio rice
  • 1 Large avocado
  • 1 can sandwich tuna

Directions

  • Cook rice as per instructions (I use a microwave rice cooker as its delightfully fast, easy to clean and no microwaves don't kill you). Set aside to cool.
  • Mash avocado in a bowl, add the can of tuna and mix together.
  • Add the avocado mixture to the rice once cooled and mix together.
  • Squish into balls and serve! Perfect served alone or some mint yogurt dip would be a great addition!

You can easily add in spices, garlic or herbs or even sprinkle some sesame seeds on top to boost up the flavour too.
