Banana Bread French Toast
A quick and easy way to use up left over bread, this baked banana bread French toast is a protein and energy filled breaky option for your little ones. Literally, this will take you 5 minutes to make and 15 minutes to bake. It makes several serves too so will feed the family for breakfast or last you a couple of days in the fridge.

Suitable from around 6 months — there's no added sugar and the baked texture is lovely and soft.
6–9 months: cut into finger-length strips that are well soaked and soft for palmar grasping.
9–12 months: offer small pieces to practise the pincer grip.
12 months+: serve as is, topped with yogurt and berries.

Allergen Substitutions
Use oat or soy milk for a dairy free version, and gluten free bread if needed. The egg forms the custard base here, so it can't easily be left out — a commercial egg replacer will work but the texture will be softer.
