This pear and oatmeal cinnamon muffin recipe by Starting Solids Australia is perfect for big and little kids alike! Dairy and soy free as well as freezer friendly.

Whether you're getting ready to pack lunchboxes again for kinder or school, or just looking for a quick and easy afternoon snack for your little ones this pear and oatmeal cinnamon muffin should be on your list of go to baked goods.

To make them friendly for babies or younger toddlers- simply grate the pears instead of dicing them. Depending on where your little one is at with solids, you might also need to add some moisture like a scoop of yogurt or fruit puree so it is the right texture for them.

Age Recommendation - If the pear is grated then most bubs will have no issue tackling a muffin like this from around 9-10 months without any modification. With diced pear we would recommend over 12 months.

These are

  • Family friendly
  • Freezer friendly
  • Nut free
