Potato and Carrot Rostis
Rostis are a delicious easy way to serve different vegetables to little ones. Grating the vegetables before shaping into patties tends to make them a wonderful safe texture as they just fall apart when bitten into. They are also a perfect meal for any time of the day!

Appropriate for babies around 6 months starting solids.
6–9 months: offer a whole or half rosti so bub can palm-grip and munch — the grated texture falls apart safely.
9–12 months: break into small pieces for pincer grip practice.
12 months+: serve topped with mashed avocado and a sprinkle of finely ground pistachio crumb.

Wheat (flour). The optional pistachio crumb contains tree nuts.
Allergen Substitutions
Use a gluten free plain flour for a wheat free version, and simply skip the pistachio crumb for nut free.
