Care & cleaning
Dishwasher safe. Or hand wash with a soft sponge and warm soapy water. Dry with a tea towel straight after washing. Stainless steel shows water marks — faint tan or rainbow patches are dried mineral deposits from tap water, not damage. A cloth dipped in white vinegar lifts them straight off. About surface marks: stainless steel marks with use. Cutlery, cutting food in the box and everyday knocks in a bag all leave fine surface lines. This is normal for all stainless steel. There is no coating to wear through, so a marked box is still completely safe, hygienic and built to last. Avoid steel wool, scouring pads and bleach.

Yes — pop it straight in the dishwasher.
Will the stainless steel scratch?
Yes, and that is normal. Cutlery and everyday knocks in a bag leave fine surface marks. They are cosmetic only — stainless has no coating to wear through, so a marked box stays safe and hygienic for years.
